The Line Maintenance course provides advanced hands-on training on SR305-230 series engines while performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks. Technicians will learn the various procedures to disassemble, install and/or adjust engine components and LRUs, such as cylinders and the engine fuel control unit.
Classes are kept to a maximum limit of 8 students to guarantee quality training.
- Students must be able to read and understand English (other languages may be available, contact us for details).
- Completion of the Line Service course is required prior to registering for the Line Maintenance course.

Line maintenance training is provided by the Tarrant County College District (TCCD), SMA's authorized training center.
Classes are located at TCCD's Corporate Training Center, across from the Alliance airport in Fort Worth, Texas (35 minutes North-West of the Dallas-Fort Worth International airport).
Note: Classes are subject to be canceled if fewer than 4 participants are registered (maximum 8 trainees).
Course duration: 2 days
Classes begin at 8:00 am and end at 5:00 pm with a lunch break from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.
The Line Maintenance course is 490 USD per participant, including:
- Hands-on practice as described above
- Certificate of completion
A combination package including both courses (e-learning and the hands-on) is 900 USD.
This line maintenance training is valid for FAA IA renewal.
